Overview

The navigation information processing laboratory is based on the navigation and location service research institute and Spatial Intelligence Research Institute of the State Key Laboratory of Surveying and mapping and remote sensing information engineering of Wuhan University. We are especially interested in the study of Ubiquitous navigation and positioning, vision and spatial perception, satellite navigation and monitoring.

This course focuses on the basic principles and key technologies of wireless location. The course includes:
the basic principles of positioning technology and the different types of the positioning technologies.
analysis on the main factors that affect the performance of positioning accuracy.
different positioning systems and their applications, e.g. satellite positioning, cellular network positioning, wireless local area network positioning, DTV and 5g positioning technology etc.

201401051 - 数字信号处理
This course focuses on the description of digital signal processing in time domain and frequency domain, and the basic theory and algorithm realization of mutual transformation. It also discusses the design and realization of various characteristics of digital filters. The applications of DSP will introduced and discussed in the fields of AI, image processing, radar signal processing, wireless communication, navigation and localization etc.
Students are required to master the basic analysis theory and design methods of digital systems, and establish solutions to practical problems Rigorous method and scientific attitude.

This course mainly introduces the basic principles and key technologies of indoor positioning, which include:
the background and research and the state of the art of indoor positioning;
the basic methodology of indoor positioning and the factors that affect indoor positioning.
different indoor systems including Wi-Fi, BLE, UWB, visual positioning, pedestrian dead reckoning etc and the sensor fusion algorithms indoor positioning
Three experiments and field tests will be carried out, which include indoor positioning with WiFi, UWB and visual positioning. After the course, students are expected to understand the principles and obtain practical skills on indoor navigation.
